Arrival and Dismissal

While construction continues on the west side of the campus during the fall of 2026, we will implement these drop-off and pick-up policies for students at both Northfield Elementary and Northfield Jr/Sr High School.

Students from both schools will be dropped off and picked up from the east side of Northfield Jr/Sr High School.

Morning Dropoff

All vehicles should enter from the east driveway. Student drivers can park in the parking lot. Those dropping students off will circle the north side of the parking lot and then let their students out at the designated spot. Students in grades 6-12 should be let out at the athletic entry, Door 7. These students can go to the cafeteria for breakfast, or wait in the hallway until the bell rings to go to lockers.

Students in grades 3-5 should be let out at the music hallway entry, Door 4. Elementary students who are eating breakfast will go to the high school cafeteria. Elementary students who are not having breakfast will go to the auditorium.

After students are dropped off, the vehicle should exit the parking lot via the middle driveway.

Afternoon Pick Up

At the end of the school day, vehicles should once again enter from the east driveway. They can then park in the parking lot. Parents of NES students should come to Door 4 and wait for their student.

Bus Only Area

The front parking lot will be used only by school buses from 7:30 - 8:15 AM, and again from 3 - 3:30 PM. Drop-off and pick-up are not allowed in this area.

School Day Entry

Northfield Elementary will use Door 17 for pick-up and drop-off during the day. There will be two parking spots in the back closest to that door where parents can park.
